The device from the MAGNUM MIG 145 W series is a semi-automatic welding machine powered from a single-phase 230V network with a maximum welding current of 120A. Designed for manual, electric welding of steel with self-shielding wire (FCAW Flux-Cored Arc Welding method). The FCAW method is arc welding with flux cored wire. It is a welding method similar to the MIG / MAG method, with the difference that the wire is filled inside with flux or a chemical substance that produces protective gases during welding. FCAW welding combines the advantages of both coated electrode welding and MAG welding.

The power source was built on IGBT transistors ensuring minimum electromagnetic interference, low power losses in the basic circuits, allowing to increase the efficiency and reliability of the power source, lower energy consumption and instant adjustment of the current to changes in parameters during welding. The device is intended for small welding works in repair shops, farms, etc.
